Just been reading an article in the "Mais Alto" magazine (magazine of the Portuguese Air Force. This is a very interesting article about the restructuring plans of the FAP following the end of the Colonial Wars.
The initial plan called for the introduction into service of two fighter types: the F-5 and F-4E Phantom.
