Well this is embarrassing...
« on: March 09, 2019, 04:13:20 AM »
In my recent additions to my aviation library, I appear to have doubled up on a couple of books:

Before putting them up on eBay, I thought I would give you guys a chance to make an offer.  I can strongly recommend both as good reads (hell, so good that I bought them twice! ;))

PM me if you are interested.

I know the feeling, I now have two copies of a major collection of cutaways of both WW II and modern military aircraft, Airplane Anatomy, because they have different covers and I didn't realize at the time of purchase that I had another.  *Sigh!* I've got some other books where I just plain forgot I'd already bought it.

Greg,

I'm interesting in "Forgotten Tanks and Guns" and the "Dark Age of Tanks".  Please let me know what those will run me.

Thanks,
Evan

Maybe if you read them you would remember having them?

Although I must confess I have multiple copies of some books that was due to Amazons overreaction to me letting them know the one book out of the several I had ordered that they said they couldn't get and had refunded me for had actually arrived.  No matter how hard I tried to explain to them and repay the refunded repayment they didn't quite get it and ended up sending an extra copy of everything in my order and refunding the entire order, the one book that was refunded originally being refunded again!

Reading them is not the problem.  Having 2000+ books often on overlapping subjects and having had some for decades is where the challenge sometimes lies.

My main book case is a huge glass doored affair that since we moved into an elevated house, has been in my sons room down stairs, that's the one that holds all my Janes and Friedman book plus similar I have collected over the decades. I have a stack of smaller book cases that are actually in the shed, i have no idea what is in some of them so i do know what you mean
