Weird Camouflage

Here I was thinking the RAAF had gone crazy with their newish camouflaged uniforms (so glad I am no longer in...):



Then I see the schemes on some Chinese military vehicles:






I have to ask:  Why even bother?

This whole digital camo thing has gotten completely out of hand. Plus the colors on the Chinese vehicles and the uniform don't make any sense.

Wonder how digital type camo would look on unlikely subject such as:  Spad, Betty, Vampire, M3 Lee, Elco PT boat, you name it.

I don't have a problem with the so-called "digital camoflage", especially when one sees how well it can work.  The colours though... ;D

They are the parade colours of PLA's naval branches (PLAN and PLA Naval Infantry a.k.a. PLAMC).
