Norman Warrior M Model 54 mm by my fiancee:)
« on: August 09, 2014, 01:44:21 AM »
Before the last Scale Modelling Fest in Bytom(Silesia, Poland) my fiancee painted monocycle from some WH40K type game. Then she decided that she wants to paint larger figuse. I glued resin knight together as she hated to do so and primered. Today she began to paint it. Some photos:

The work continues :)
Sickening, weakening
Don't let another somber pariah consume your soul
You need strengthening, toughening
It takes a bit of dark to rekindle the fire burning in you
Ignite the fire within you

I know, this is her first figure and model ever :)

:)

All I can say is that she is very glad that you like her work :)

Because of Vallejo fast drying time , the Norman Warrior was finished:

She is braver than I - painting figures (especially faces) is something I hate!

Well I painted loads of figures back in my wargaming days and I'd be very proud to have turned that out, so for a first attempt it's outstanding. Well done!

Artoor, if that's the young lady's first figure painting effort, God help the Figure Painting SIG world when she's done a few more & has some experience! ;)

That's fantastic stuff! Great work (please pass that on) and it's always a bonus for the hobby when the partner is interested too ...... there's a ton a Pegaso 54's I'd love to magic the time to have a go at so I'm sure she'll enjoy the large figure world.
