Jupiter last night - the small black dot on the left is the shadow of Ganymede (first moon visible on the right) the other moon further out is Io. The pinkish spot on the lower right limb is the Great Red Spot. It was cool (57F/14C) last night but starting to get foggy and the atmosphere wasn't very steady, so the image is a little fuzzier than normal. Taken with a Celestron Nexstar 6SE and a small astro camera. The faint square pattern on Jupiter is an artifact of the image processing:
