ARC Silly Week 2012
« on: January 02, 2012, 04:13:43 AM »
Dave Bailey's CR-100 Reconnaissance Aircraft (CF-100 Canuck) with very big wings

Created by someone we know from another forum and "the other forum" and uploaded to ARC for Silly Week 2012.

Dave based his ARC Silly Week project on the 1/72 Hobbyfix CF-100 kit with some larger wings and it certainly looks convincing.  Link to the full article on ARC.

Looks very natural, in many ways less 'clunky' than the Clunk.

Dave Bailey has shared added another model to ARC Silly Week 2012.  This time it is a Folland Gnat target drone (1/72nd scale Airfix) that is depicted just moments before its destruction by an air to air missile.

Dave Bailey has shared another subject for the ARC Silly Week 2012 event.  This time it is the old AMT Galileo 7 Shuttlecraft in Pan American Markings and it certainly looks good.

Hal Elsberry has shared his own interpretation of a kit-bash between the Mil-24 Hind and the A-10 Thunderbolt II in 1/48th scale no less as part of the ARC Silly Week 2012 event.

Hurrah! Steve extended it by a day, allowing my ever late entries to get into this year. Kees Kuyper aslo has a good shuttle variant as well.

Congratulations Al, glad to see you made the list before it was all over.  Might have to start calling you the "Comeback Kid" for that little feat ;^)

Now, if only I had a couple 1/72 Shuttle stacks laying around to do a launch configuration...4 SRBs! Wow!

Be careful what you wish for, that wish could easily come true for you :^)

??? What is silly about the Superjet in Canadian colours?

By the way, the link for that one is wrong. It points only to the thumbnail image itself.
