To start with, for anyone who has considered a carrier based P-80, may I direct you here.

I always saw the Flight Concepts/Boeing Skyfox rebuild of the T-33 as a potential mini A-10.

I remember Skyfox from back in 1980s.  Nifty good looking jet.  One was built.
Be cool personal sport jet today with contemporary engines.

All you'd need would be modern TFE731 engines installed and equipment upgraded to today's standards.  Everything else would work nicely.  I like the idea of a single-seat attack version with nose guns.

Note, if you were to try and do a Skyfox in 1/48, the engine nacelles out of the Hasegawa/Revell Mystere are perfect.

Sort of a ''Pre-Dragon Lady" with enlarged air intakes and longer wings, modified RF nose.

Re the Skyfox, I wonder how one would go bashing a T-33 and a Learjet together...with a lot of PSR to get one?

Large T-33 tip tanks, under wing mini guns, and service in the Middle East/Africa.

I'm sure I read somewhere a model manufacturer was going to produce one, but I just can't find the reference.  It might have been in one of the news letters I get from various websites.

Say...... what if we throw the Skyfox upgrade into the rocket-armed F-94C?
Forget about his bow and arrows- why wait until that sparrow has done his deed when I can just bury him right now 'cause I'm sick and tired of hearing why he wants to have his way with the cock robin!?

In 1/48 scale, the engine nacelles from the Hasegawa/Revell Falcon kit are perfect for this conversion because Skyfox used the same supplier.

A very interesting propeller driven What-If based on the F-80 Shooting Star built by Kees Kuyper and shared at ARC: ------> The Lockheed T-30
