Rescue of a partially built Revell IIC. Floats from a Matchbox Fairey Sea Fox. I made the float struts.

Looks good

Sure looks sleek! I'd never expect floats to lend an air of speed, but here we are.
Hot right outta the gate!

Looks like a natural! How's it coming along?
-
Looks great and it looks like you have the floats positioned right. Nice work! Colors?
-
Good grief! How'd I miss this? :o
Brilliant start, TBG!
Are you going to finish her off for us? ???

Thanks guys. It's getting there. Hope to get it done.
Have been sidetracked with the sale of my parent's house. Both my parents have dementia so my my brother and I are the designated Substitute Decision makers in their POA.

I completely understand. My Dad asks me what I do for a living almost everyday and I’ve had the same career for 25 years. My siblings and I are learning to just let comments and questions go by. Many times it’s just the dementia talking.

Sorry to hear that, mate. I can only imagine what it must be like losing the person you knew to something as insidious as dementia.
If you can, you can: If you can't, you can't. Family first, always!

Thank you. We see the same behaviour Ken. The same message on an endless loop. Insidious is the same term I use as well Guy. We missed the early signs which pisses me off.
Another friend's mom also has dementia. She calls it the long good-bye.

Sorry to hear about your parents Carl, mrs kitnut's Grandad had it so I'm keeping an eye on her, her short term memory is starting to get a little wonky --

I was lucky only insofar as both my parents died before they could succumb to it. But the first job I ever had was orderly in a Nursing home - at least they have you there with them.

My thoughts are with you, man. :(
