Hi everyone,as promised, here's a small tutorial, of how i build my models,it is not very complet, but this year i did not have time to make it better, but i think it will help you,if you want to start building your own models, and sorry about the pictures,I'm not very good at taking them, if you have any questions fell free to ask me,one very important thing when working with polystyrene,NEVER use any solvent glue or synthetic paints, because that will completely destroy the polystyrene, remember this.
First of all it helps a lot to draw in a piece of paper, what you want to build.

This are more a less, the tools i use to cut the polystyrene,as you can see they are quite simple.
here it is a piece of polystyrene, already cut and market
(http://i868.photobucket.com/albums/ab242/PEDROSPE/100_1358.jpg)
in the next pictures, you will see,the several cuts with an x-knife,and razorblade to the polystyrene, to make the shape of the aircraft

in the next picture you can see the "cuts" for the exhaust nozzles and the air intakes(i use small pieces of plastic to make this)
after the aircraft is sanded,is time to make the wings, since this is a very simple model,it does not have rudders or tails, this is the kind of plastic that i use to make the wings
(http://i868.photobucket.com/albums/ab242/PEDROSPE/100_1365.jpg)
once the wings are glued(remember do not use any solvent based glues)it's time to finish the cockpit and paint the polystyrene with two or three layers of acrylic paint, this makes the polystyrene smoother
(http://i868.photobucket.com/albums/ab242/PEDROSPE/100_1369.jpg)
since you can not mark the polystyrene, to make the panels of the aircraft, like for example the weapons bays, use selfadeshive paper or plastic

after all is done ,this is like the finished model will look

Thank you for the tutorial. :) I'm still amazed!

Thanks for posting your tut on our site, I'm sure BTS is enriched with it.
This shows how unlimited imagination, a deep love for modeling, and unequaled resourcefulness can yield results worthy of admiration.
Amazed doesn't even start to describe it. Being one avid scratchbuilder, I'm humbled to see in stark detail, how true is the adage "simple is beautiful"
Gracias y felicidades, Pedro.

Great tutorial man, thanks for sharing! 8)
Only thing I'd like to know is how you dug out the cockpit since I don't see any drills and you started from a solid block of plastic.

This is looking really good! How do you do the 'hollowing out'? In the past, I have used a short bladed craft knife to cut out, and pry out the rough shape of the hollow section, then smoothed with a small sanding block. Is this what you do?
A thought: Greg, how about a special section for tutorials, so they don't all get scattered and lost amongst the general forum posts!

I'll second that!

So many possibilities with this method, I'll definitely keep it in mind for future projects. Thanks for sharing it with us!

That's what the "Tips, Tools and Techniques" area (where I have just moved this thread) is already for.

Hi everyone, thanks a lot for your kind comments, sorry once more about the "crappy"pictures, now for your questions,Cliffy B,to hollow the interior of the cockpit and the landing gear bays, i do more a less like deathjester kindly explained, i first cut a small rectangle with a razorblade, then hollow it with a small hobby knife, taking small pieces of the polystyrene,at the end i just sand the bottom with a small piece of sand, now about the canopies,i use a vacumform system to form the canopies shape, i build a few years ago a vacumform box,you can see an example here,
