This is a 1/48 Tamiya JS-2. I used a 1/35 76mm barrel to simulate a 1/48 100mm barrel.

I'm convinced!!! :)

The kit came with no AAMG. I do not know of any Dushka MG in 1/48. :(

Maybe as a substitute you could use a 1/48 12.7 mm Berezin UBT machine gun from the rear of a Il-2?

Thanks for the tip Greg. It would be more sensible to have a heavy MG d for AA defense. Hopefully there is an AM version. Off to Ebay for a search. ;)

Look what I just found. A 1/48 Soviet MG set. :icon_beer:

I think the MG on the wheels is a Dushka.

^ No, that's a 7.62mm PM M1910, often seen called "Maxim". Don't see why you couldn't use that, though.

I think Propaganda Company do a "Dushka".

I just heard back from the Propaganda Company. Marc, the owner says he is not real satisfied with the master for the DSHK. he is saying maybe October sometime for it to be out.

I would also add some ID panels for US pilots, attacking everything that don't look like produced in Detroit.

Here's a post-apocalyptic wargamer's site with lots of neat scenery and terrain ideas that would be useful to anyone contemplating a diorama:

I have read a French book "L'humanité disparaitra, bon débarras!" (Humanity will disappear, this is good!) and I have criticized it, going even further, into "Humanity will disappear, I don't care much...". Alas this is long (23 screens of text) and all in French, sorry.
For French speaking ones, the link is http://www.kristofmeunier.fr/disparaitra.htm
The principle is (no need of wars) that the World disappears everytime I go to bed, closing my eyes, and maybe I am here after death, having killed myself twice (yes, I take psychiatric pills)...
