I only sent it yesterday Carl, after reading that link Nils had posted in the Italeri thread on the What-If Forum.

It's a bit odd though, in my up-close pics I took of the F-35B, they don't reveal the RAM lines quite like that pic you posted.

The light seems to change the depth.

I guess that's why they are available as a decal vs made via kit mold.

Italeri has put up its Preview 2020: https://www.italeri.com/uploads/news/b9oyS352gqHmhEzkjSqwDK80IVvs09sLuqzoPqmR.pdf

For the third(fourth?) year in a row the 1/48 Agusta-Bell JetRanger repop is there, blatantly plastered all over page 8:

Still waiting - progressively less patiently - for it to actually appear...

It would be nice if they used that as a start to produce a kit of the Bell Model 407 which could then be used as a basis for a model of the MQ-8C.  Still, I'd settle for a Model 206 for now (if/when it comes out, wonder how long 'til a conversion for a 206LR shows up?)

It's likely the ESCI mould, which according to Scalemates has been around since 1980. Given that Fujimi and Heller have also released 1/48(/50) kits of the type over the years I'm surprised no-one's done any conversion sets. Actually, I take that back: I've just found this 206L-1 set by Top Gun Models on Scalemates. I've asked for availability info on Top Gun's Facebook page.

Although my (first?  ;)) copy of the JetRanger kit will need custom decals, it's encouraging to see the label for a Super Decal sheet on the catalogue listing. The thing that I really, really wish and hope they fix is the height of the rotor mast. As seen in this gorgeous build, it's too short and makes the machine look weird.

I forgot about this but I did get a reply from them. They said the very heavy raised panel edges were so that people could paint them easier  ???

Per my post yesterday about the Scalemates listing for a 1/48 LongRanger conversion, 10min ago they replied to me:

I emailed Italeri to ask on behalf of JetRanger fans everywhere about a release date for the 1/48 reissue and have just received a response:
Quote
Dear Mr. Yates,

thank you for contacting us.

We kindly inform you that the article AB-206B1 N.Y.P.D in 1:48 scale No. 2778 is in this year catalog, so it will be produced within the end of the year.

If not already done so, we suggest that you subscribe to our monthly Newsletter (https://www.italeri.com/en/contacts) in order to be updated about our new releases and our back in stock products.

A kind regard,

Lockheed TR-1A/B [U-2S/TU-2S] SUPER DECALS SHEET FOR 4 VERSIONS - COLOR INSTRUCTIONS SHEET

Note: The sprues have been updated to include the trainer version bits. That is the second cockpit. The kit has always had the provision for it.

Well their not in this particular kit but one can get decals:

and it shouldn't be too difficult to modify.  The nose is probably the only thing.  One can/could get a conversion:
