Swords to Plowshares GB / Re: Aer Ab-11 'L-BUCD'

Okay . . .
Managed to make some progress today,

Some dark paint inside the cockpits, the elevators and tailplanes are separate, so I've joined them, and the wing has a separate centre section, depending on which version you are building. I've used the 'wrong' one (without the enlarged fuel tank), but this will look better once the wing is split into two and attached to the fuselage sides.
That's All For Now, Stay Tuned . . .

cheers,
Robin.

Hello,
It may be too far for most people here, but I would like to point out:
The 24th model building exhibition will take place on May 25th/26th, 2024 at Pioneer Battalion 1, Pioneer Barracks on the Solling, Holzminden, Germany. I have been an exhibitor for ages. The local newspaper said "35,000 models and 530 modellers on 14,000 square meters". And original vehicles can also be seen, including demonstrations. If you are interested, check out my Flickr collection of previous shows

Land / BISON APC, Canada, 1:35, conversion
« Last post by Marderman on Today at 04:27:17 AM »
Hello friends,
To match my Canadian collection, I've taken on my BISON. It's a Canadian APC based on the LAV Piranha. There were various models from ESCI around 1990. And I've also converted a few. I built this one in 1990 as a waterline model. I never really liked it. Years later, I was able to buy an unpainted Piranha at a model show, I wanted to use it for something else. A 5-axle vehicle was still a dream. A few days ago, I had the idea of making 1 out of 2. It wasn't a problem, only half of the tailgate had to be replaced. I'll paint it later. With all the interest in F-16s of late, it reaching its 50th birthday and GLanini's wonderful Profiles for inspiration, what about a F-16 GB?

F-16 was a contender last time when Finland was looking for fighters (1990s)....
... unfortunately, they would probably be dull grey, like most Finnish military aircraft since those days.

Well technically second to last given the last was the HX Fighter Program that selected the F-35A in late 2021.

They will presumably be grey too...
