So SWMBO bought a new vacuum last year. I had this idea and it slowly started to gnaw at me. I started working on it. Very slowly. lits bits here and there. I ordered some parts for it. didn't even want to post here because I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up with yet another project that might not ever be finished. So I took pictures and uploaded them but waited to post them until now:

Obviously, vacuum repurposing imagineering has taken hold.  Good choices on mods and colors. :)
As they say on Monty Python,,,   Now for something completely different.

I really like how you incorporate Legos into your builds, Mr Tomcat!

Thanks guys! Trying to keep things moving along! Yesterday was a total wash. Head aches and zero energy out of nowhere.  :icon_crap: better today after good rest.

There is a hole where one of the vacuum's hoses attached.  So its going to get a turret. Legos to the rescue again!

like the left turret, but its too big. So right is in the front running for gun style.

VLS style. Ignore all the colors everything is getting painted anyway.

Engine:

the good!

the bad!

The ugly!

There should be a hole in the rear where light can show through so I am trying to keep one part of the engine clear, so it can shine through. I got real clever and used the front dome part in the mask since it fit just right. But the whole thing went wrong, ruined the dome piece and didn't get done. I'm going to pour some black acrlyic craft paint in to fix everything, sand and fix the dome part too.

Modeling is some times quite like a dance.  Take two steps forward then one step backwards and then when you least expect it, a couple of steps sideways not always in the preferred direction....

Looking good so far Ben, you have a plan or at the very least you have us all thinking you have a plan.  :)

This just in:  Taiidantomcat achieves a whole new level of awesome with this latest build.

The LED Tea Lights are a great idea and that tank of glowing stuff really looks the part.  :)
