Another option might be the AMC Pacer station wagon.

Most recent release was in 2016 according to ScaleMates: 1977 AMC Pacer Station Wagon

While driving on the expressway today I think I found the perfect car/cab for the Schinibblemobil. This would make it closer to the original German version.

A 2000-2003 Ford Taurus station wagon. The problem is I can only find a kit of the ‘89 Sedan. Any suggestions? There was a resin body shell of the station wagon but that seems to be as scarce as hen’s teeth. I’ll keep looking otherwise it will be the Pinto.
Any chance someone has a cop style light bar for the top of the Pinto?

Looks good! I'm tempted to start on the 1/35 version.

This is truly fascinating and impressive metalwork. True artistry

Thank you for your kind words.

Thanks gents!!
Correct Wombattus!! It's not 100% accurate (I mean just look at how thick the prop blades are) but it is close and I'm very happy with it.
Just annoying that the mottle does not pick up well in images as when I examine the model the mottle (IMHO) looks just right!!
Being just one of around 20 '109's in the stash, it was about time I squeezed one out the hangar doors.

Hmmm, those bomb trolleys and the tractor bring back some fond memories of my childhood.
Very nice

Coming along. Weathering this back could be a bit of fun

Hi all

Made some progress on the tilly

Most of the Chassis is complete

Installed the glazing in the body shell and masked it out

Primer coat......

Rust applied then covered with maskol

Brush coated with olive drab, the backstory being this is a surplus military vehicle bought up by a civilian and sprayed yellow, badly.

Some of the green is masked out.

Yellow coat.........

Maskol is rubbed off to reveal the green and rust underneath......

The wear in the back is a bit too regular so that will need addressing, next job is some weathering and shading so it looks used

Thanks for looking..........

Hi all

Final post to get me up to date.

Finally finished the PSR and masked and fitted the canopy and nose glazing. I would have liked to leave the nose glazing till last but it had to be sanded into the nose extension.

And as if by magic, the wings are on.....

And it has its first coat of primer.......

Just have to snag any missed holes and it's ready for spraying.

The bomb tractor has also made some progress....

The bombs did my head in, I did them in batches to preserve my sanity.

The bomb tractor and trollies are complete...

Just waiting for the bombs.

Thanks for looking ............
