Did I read somewhere about RAN interest in the USS Forrestal ?

There was an offer/interest in an Essex class as I understood it but I don't recall ever reading/hearing about the USS Forrestal or a Forrestal-class carrier and Australia.  Mind you, there is nothing stopping someone from building such a USS Australia or writing a story about it...

As an aside, apparently in the late 1990s, the US did offer Brazil a Forrestal-class carrier, but the offer was declined.

Scale-O-Rama is a favorite.  Of course that can be rolled into any of the others as builder wants to.

Colony GB:  This being one that uses scenarios (and thus builds etc) that conceive of the colonies of empires playing greater/different roles than they did historically.  for instance, I recently postalised about Germany somehow maintaining/regaining its African colonies post WW1 and thus having them as active participants in WW2.  Another might be if the likes of the British empire had different outcomes withers colonies.  Or perhaps one had the USA establishing its own grouping of formal colonies?

I agree - an asymmetrical or twin aircraft build - the more Tophe-like the better. Although if What-if has one, we should do it at roughly the same time.

Spares Box Salvage GB

The idea being that you build something using only (or at least a majority of) parts from spares/leftovers box rather than out of the box kits.  In the case of profilers, you profile something made up of parts from multiple platforms.

 I had the same thought myself. It does sound like a terrific concept for a GB.
