Built for a group build, "on the other side", this is my take on the Boxer in use with the Australian Army:

Revell Boxer kit.

Not a pleasant experience, particularly with the suspension.  I'd like to see if Hobbyboss's version is better designed.  Finished with Mouse House enamels.  Flags came from, can't remember where but are real cloth.

I'd try the Hobbyboss kit.  I can't recommend the Revell one, Greg.

Beautiful build.  That camo is sharp! What issues were there with the Revell kit? It doesn't seem to have affected the quality of your build in any way.

The Boxer has so many Whif possibilities, I'll have to add a kit or two to the stash at some point.  I'd like to build one with a 105mm or 120mm main gun along the lines of the Centauro or Stryker MGS.

Wheel station three on both sides was put on upside down.  The wheels are out of aiignment as a consequence.  The Revell instructions are not terribly clear, with images which are too small and indistinct.  The problem wasn't evident until the wheels were attached.  :(

My thinking exactly.  I am planning one with the MGS system (though maybe given a European twist re gun) and one as an Air Defence Vehicle.  One of these, not sure which, will be in ARA colours.

Very nice Rickshaw, despite the problems you certainly kicked it into shape, hope this gets done in 1/72nd scale, then I can have some to join my Honduras builds.

Brian,

nicely done and thanks for the heads up on construction issues with this release. Revell seem have a thing for complicated suspension bits, the Luchs and Fuchs both have none too trivial suspension build steps.

I like the Boxer, a lot, due to its.. well boxiness and this looks quite fine in the Auscam colours

Cheers

Agreed, it does look good in Auscam. For the big gun module, how about the Hägglunds turret from the CV90120-T?
