Now, part of the sanding is done, and additional putty is on, and the MEL-38G with tanks is almost complete (what is the engine of it? shhht, this is top-secret electromagnetic force)... one P-82 canopy will remain and this is good for asymmetry that I strongly like...

After sanding the P-82 fuselages and gluing the propellers + adding putty on the P-38 booms and wings, the result was this:

Then after sanding the P-38 wings and booms + gluing their propellers and external tailplanes + the main airframe, the result is now this, close to completion...

Thanks! I have glued the booms and reinforced them but I hold the model by one of the fuselages to be sure not to beak all down...

The canopies are now on, ready for the first layer of paint. Completion in less than 1 month probably.

The models are now painted with the first layer. Including canopies (that will be pen-colored black at the end, because no seat/cockpit done). I have no more paint but it is in order, to be sent Monday (Humbrol or else are not available in my little town).

Now the 2 models are almost complete. Just finishing remains to be done: blue cover of a few black excessive spots, gluing the 2 broken blades, and that will be done!

I really like how you used the same color for the props and canopies, Tophe! This creates a visual symmetry that pulls everything together.
