Title: 2017 Group Build Poll
Post by: GTX_Admin on January 01, 2017, 03:42:35 AM
Ok folks,

Time to vote for which Group Builds you would like in 2017.  Please note that there are already two GBs locked in:

The vote will go through for the next 3 wks.  Each member has 5 votes and you can change your mind if you so desire.

If you want more info on any option, have a look here (http://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?topic=49.225) (the order of the voting options is pretty much the same order the GB ideas were posted) or simply ask.

Please also feel free to campaign for your favourites - bribes to the Admin and Mods will be considered... ;)

Wow! There are too many good ideas in there. Maybe we can narrow it down, tournament style? Top 10 picks move on to the second round of voting? Or perhaps combine some choices? Punked/retro future.... Early WW2/spats...

Combining might happen depending on how the vote goes.

I'll throw my hat in the ring to moderate one of the upcoming builds. No preference as to which one.

Me too voted!!

An idea for 2018: Following up on Alvis's two recent builds, how about "something old and something new".

Take an aircraft/tank/ship as it was pre-1945 and paint it/arm it with a post 2000 weapon/markings.

Red Cross/CSAR could be combined into an all-encompassing "Rescue" GB, but that would just clutter up the top vote-getters right now...

For the annual non-military group build we could do a Racing/Rescue theme... Or Rescue racers? With an SR-71 firefighter? A formula 1 ambulance?  ;)

Only a day or so to go folks!  Only 29 have voted out of 600+ members.  Don't make me vote for you... ;)

Final results and resulting GB calendar will be posted shortly.  I am just counting up the bribes and determining how to reallocate the votes....
