Those aren't Beaufighter Hercules engines under those cowlings, but rather two of the special, two stage supercharged Pegasus engines used by the original Bristol 138A. Armament would be four rifle-calibre Brownings.
My scenario is 1939-40, with the Ju86s flying photo recce missions over
