Noticed they showed up in some post-apocalyptic builds.
US Army Special Forces are teaching their students basic horsehandling during the ROBIN SAGE exercises.

Most of the Nazi army during WW2 was horse-drawn.

Saw this today - Liberty class merchant ship dockside at Antwerp, probably very late in WW2.

The masks are being worn, in this instance, not because of COVID but to prevent the handlers copping a mouthful of llama spit. ;)
