A late entry from Grumman for the Texaco Tiptank Transcontinental race.

Will provide additonal details when completed.

As a racer, perhaps delete the tip tanks, clip the wings a tad and add wingtip end fences (like modern winglets, but simple vertical plates.) to provide drag and handling benefits?

Just a thought.

Ah! Never mind then. You'll need the tanks to get any range at all.  ;D

Even better, do one up as Gulfhawk V  whif.  If I could only find some decent 1/72 Gulfhawk decals.
