Airfix 1/32 Monty's Humber staff car in civilian colors
« on: February 05, 2017, 01:34:16 PM »
I thought it would look better in its civilian guise of a 1943 Humber Super Snipe Open Tourer. I brush-painted it in period-correct civilian colors. It's OOB minus the military stuff. Some parts are done with Bare Metal Foil. I rigged it so I can display the convertible top either up or down.

Adios, Larry.

Your Humber looks like a million bucks, Larry!

I've got a real soft-spot for turning swords into plowshares and your model has carried this off in magnificent style!

Well done!
