Title: French and Italian WW2 Secret Projects
Post by: Flitzer on January 31, 2012, 11:01:59 PM
I only have one of each at the moment.

However I have collected a few promising sets of data and info for a few more in the future.

The German stuff is ok, but I love the more obscure countries and designs.  The Luft 46 has sort of been done into the ground, so I like a change of scenery every now and again.

Cheers,

Logan

I can understand your point of view Logan. There are masses of WW2 Luftwaffe Secret Project stuff out there, but even here there seems to be a group of the more favoured designs that constantly turn up, such as the Fw Ta183, Me P1101 etc.
I've done my fair share of the more popular, but I often try to find something that has largely been ignored or is less well-known.
Sometimes I come across designs I've not seen before too, or there is scant information and I try to do something around them.
I also love concepts of other countries, but details and info seems to be less available and often sketchy.  But I have collected a few more Italian and French designs amongst others that are pulling at my curiosity.

Many thanks, and you too Doom.

That Imam-Ro67 sure looks like something the Italians might try! Very believable!

Ro 67 has me thinking if three R-2800 four blade (think F4U-4) engines will fit on SM.79  :-\
Would make it move out !
