Here it is temporarily placed on its stand. Soon I'll have to find a shelf wide enough to place it on. Some more detail painting around the engine exhaust and some flat clear and its done.

Oh Yes! that looks very good indeed  :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

Awesome job on this Bas Ass Bison Ken!
Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

Yes, the Bison lives on! Brought out of storage the Bison was restored and much modified for its new maritime patrol mission. The process was time consuming and complicated but it appears to be on schedule for completion by it’s deadline. Still awaiting installation of its new “Kitchenaid” antiship missiles it will soon be ready to patrol the oceans surrounding its home.

Must say looks better than Khrushchev would have ever hoped for.   Soviets at their finest kind of appearance.    8)

Unfortunately, the creator of this "counter-revolutionist" paint scheme was shot and then sent to Siberia!

I had to put aside my AMS (advanced modelers syndrome) and get this one done. Just slightly over the original deadline which is pretty good for me. I’ll post finished pics soon.
Thanks for all the kind compliments and encouragement!

Here are the pics I promised. Be advised the IFR probe broke off again so that will get fixed asap and it needs to be permanently attached the the base. Otherwise she is done!

Not bad for an old Revell kit circa 1956! Especially since the aircraft wasn't seen until the Moscow display in 1955.
I'm calling it the Myasishchev 3M-F "Bison D" dedicated MRA version of the M-4 bomber. Sounds good anyway!

Here's some better pics of the finished product. At least the kitchen table is less cluttered than the work desk!

Remembering green Bisons around the neighborhood back when.   This one is sooo much better in color, finish, outfitting.  :-*

Thanks everyone!

The club I go to (IPMS Duneland) is having a contest and swap meet on Oct 15 and I'm going to swamp the whif table with this and several others.

Another club member bought two boxes of old models at a previous swap meet in Crystal Lake and has given me a bunch of wreckage to try and make something out of. I now have several old 1/72nd scale Monogram A-1H Skyraiders in my possession. I'm imagining a Skyraider biplane on floats to start with. Then maybe a zwilling. I have to be on the lookout for propellors as the originals were all broken off ages ago. First I need to finish the WW2 attack choppers. Then the RF-23.
