I hope that's an energy weapon that doesn't require ammunition, otherwise there goes your cargo carrying capability!
There's not that much cargo space anyway (about 8 troops near the ramp) due to the internal layout. I'll probably do a paint diagram of the insides later.
Sci-fi weapons carry their ammunition in hammerspace anyway, so no worries about losing cargo space
There is some space inside for ammo, fuel on the other hand...
Finished:
Two things on the back are the orbital engines. Dual mode - air breathing jet for high speed high altitude flight which then switches to rocket mode to blast into orbit.
VTOL and LZ approach engines - single engine split into two to create space in between.
Fixed weapons:
1x Massive gatling gun
2x ECM/EW pods (original Harrier gun pods)
Retractable weapons:
8x Heavy anti-tank missiles
4x Rocket pods
8x Light anti-vehicle missiles (folds into wingtips)
2x Anti-air missiles (not modeled - extends out of outrigger landing gear bay)
Borked the decal because it was old and started disintegrating while I was applying it.
Side view:
Little man for scale.
Finally able to use the muzzle flash effect parts!
