And developing a little further - a bubble canopy variant:

Outstanding Russ. Another BTS outstanding concept. Love to approximate in plastic. :-*
Is "Whifferwaffen" German equivalent of Lockheed Skunk Works ? ? ?

Now that looks doable. I wonder what that would look like with a Harrier T.4 style of canopy, with pilot in the backseat
Random idea: floatplane Do335 ...maybe using floats from Aichi M6A?
Random idea: floatplane Do335 ...maybe using floats from Aichi M6A?
Maybe with a huge center-line float and a pair of wing floats to ensure clearance of that aft propeller?
A centreline float might cause interference with the ventral intake?
The 335 was our local club's mini-GB subject. I think I have pics posted elsewhere on BTS but if not, I'll post them here.
Here's the thread:

I am in two minds: does this belong in this thread or the spitfire thread...or maybe its own? :-\Spitfire I'd go with...
im in lust!
Twin contra-props? Interesting way of absorbing the power on an aircraft which didn't need them...
I think I'd consider the twin contra-props only if I was re-engining with that 16-cylinder engine Daimler-Benz test flew but never put in production. Otherwise, the existing props should be quite adequate as has been demonstrated in flight. Other than that quibble, it does look right for the purpose.
