I stumbled upon this on the web somewhere :

and it gave me ideas, with other car kits :

the Peugeot 203, in red

and the Peugeot 403, in blue

both 1/43, combined with a 1/35 pontoon (german, by Bronco Models IIRC)

if you remember the ostrich (yellow), flamingo (blue) and giraffe (red) previously featured here, here is, going back into history and even prehistory, the brachiosaurus windmill :

with the remaining airframes of 1/350 Ro.43 and MB411, after stealing their floats for other purposes, I did something insect-like, like in the past with fly-tape or a glass, but this time with a flower (1:1, injection plastic, from Ikea):

Twin Otter and Buccaneer wings, red Re: hybrid aircraft/animals and others
« Reply #668 on: September 11, 2016, 04:13:03 AM »

remember this ?

here is what the Buccaneer fuselage became, with wings from the spares box, coming from a Twin Otter

I was so tempted to try the reciprocal, that I found cheap sales boxes of the former Matchbox, now Revell kits, and here is the
Twin Otter and Buccaneer wings, red :

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

Wonderful! So unusual! :-*
I wondered: why such a shape is so unusual in "Real World"? Then I found the answer, maybe: it seems there is no room for a door to enter in the fuselage... ??? ;)

Is there not a door under the rear fuselage with a set of air stairs?

aha, I thought someone would notice  ;D
I said to myself that the designers, used to military aircraft, had no sense of comfort for passengers ...
thank you for proposing the door under the rear fuselage, I guess it is the most plausible answer  ;)
