You don't have to worry that much about external threats in your kingdom. Your neighbors are all either peaceful or subjugated. In fact, your army primarily exists for parades and airshows.
So, actual cost, effectiveness, logistics, etc. aside, what equipment does your army consist of?

What could you stand to see rows and rows of as you drive by in your staff car? Personal preference, pure aesthetics and cool factor, any era.

I know some that would DEFINITELY make my list:
Ju 87B Stuka dive bombers
Tiger I tanks
B-36 Peacemaker bombers
Avro Vulcan bombers
Mi-24 Hind gunships
Hmm... AT-ATs?

What does your version of Tomania's army have?

Logan

Maybe some Chromed tracks... ;)

And white-walled tires. So how about you, Greg? You being the evil overlord of the forum, I'm sure you've though of what you'd like to see rows of in the secret underground volcano base.

You HAVE to have some of these TIE Fighters!!! Flames, LEDs, and a spoiler!
Family Guy Pimped out Tie fighter (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxOV82YjoaE#)
Make sure the sound is on. Best scene in the whole movie ;D

Logan --- B-36, you show good judgement and taste :)
Also sign me up for the B-36.
Tanks,,, I'm going with M47 or M48A3.
Love that 1950's style in planes, ships, tanks, cars.

The M47 was always a neat-looking tank. From an aesthetics perspective, it's a neat choice. I don't know if that would be mine for the era, but I certainly approve. From the '50s, I think I'm still a T-10M or M103 kinda guy. The Conqueror is too ungainly to me, but it's still cool.
One totally outdated tank from that era that I think would look cool in parades is the ARL-44, though.

Hmm... AT-ATs?
<...>
Upon reading that, an image appeared before my mind's eye. AT-ATs and AT-STs, marching by on parade, "eyes right" and - dramatic pause - in goose-step! ;D

Certainly would buy K.51 and XB-15 if available in 1/72. Both are 8)
Have other three. Like to build B-10 in silver/white underside with SAC markings.
Do a SAC flightline diorama with B-10, B-36, B-70 ready for war alert scramble.
Modernized Barling bomber with turboprops and other contemporary touches (SRAM ?) would be a neat build too.
