Italari 1/9 Triumph 3HW
« on: January 20, 2020, 04:15:40 AM »
Hi all here is the next victim to my bench I'm sure you all know me well enough to know it will be nothing like the box art.

Glued the tank halves together and made a start on the engine (detail is very crisp) but you need to cut the locating pins off as if you use them the parts dont align up very well (which is strange as once you've cut the pins off they align up perfectly)

As you'll basically re-form the entire thing it won't be much like the standard styrene version, either! ;D ;)

Nothing very drastic happening to it mate heres  more progress on this frame painted Ford squeeze green planing on doing the tank and panels yellow with white wheels, but that could all change.

Another update, I decided not to go with white wheels and decided to go with the frame colour also added some of the cables and the carb (dont like the cables far too shiny need to dull them down some how) I really love how the spokes are moulded, some of the best I've ever seen.

Hi all work on the front forks, it's quite a complex system, bit like the dampers on older cars(did something similar on the mefistofeles)

I like the green you're using for the frame. It works well with the yellow.

Damn, that's nicely done.  You could convince someone who hadn't watched the build that you had a shrink-ray.

Now that's nice!  8)

You sure you're not using a shrink ray or photo-shopping a real bike to look smaller? ???
