Another great design!

But will the F1 Racing in the future involve that amount of rusting and weathering? :)

Highly corrosive environment due to acid raib & global warming. ;)

I think they won't have a lot of resources (we are consuming them now!) to build new vehicles from raw materials, so they will have to recycle old rusty pieces and get them working all together...

Probably not, but I thought it added a little character to the the overall build. :)

Charles, how did you achieve that metallic oily rusty finish to the pieces?

Hi Antonio. Are you referring to any particular area on the model?

No, I am curious about how to have that finish to the surfaces, it looks "oily" neither matt nor glossy, but it's also different from semi-gloss or satin... Which paints did you use? Did you use a special coating varnish?

Antonio, first of all, I do not use an air-brush. Never have in my  17 years of modeling. I probably will soon, when I have the time to learn. I used an automotive spray paint to paint the base color orange. Then I used Vallejo Acrylic Matt varnish, over the entire model, after using the sponge technic. That's pretty much it. I did built this model some years ago.

Thank you Charles, I do not use airbrush either, I have no time to learn it and no space in my house to host it (I mean the compressor).
By the way what is the Sponge technique?

Totally agree about the compressor issue. No room for one just yet. The sponge technic is simply taking a small piece of sponge or one from a packaging meterial; and dip it into some paint, then damp it off on a paper towel or cloth. The idea is to remove as much of the paint as possible, which is similar to dry brushing.
