I think I am going to have to try a rotary bay one of these days after seeing yours.

I am fascinated by the whole rotary launcher idea - If/when I build my A-12 it'll have a mixed load of AAMs, AGMs and smart bombs on it.

On to my latest progress report. Today, I worked on the landing gear.  Last night I soldered the brass rod into the basic shapes for the gear legs; a "T" for the nose and two "L"'s for the mains.

Life intrudes on my building once again, but I've managed to start working on the GBU-39s.

First prototype and parts for #2:

Further development of the prototype and parts for the rest of the loadout:

Still working out in my head the folded wings and tail fins. I've got ideas, but suggestions are always welcome, too.

Not a lot of progress, but I did get a little more done:

Started the rhinoplasty:

One of the GBU's are done, and the others are moving along the assembly line:

I've got to get the gear tacked into place and see how much nose weight I'll need to add to keep her on all three legs.

Holy Cow!  This is an impressive project!  That bomb bay and the bombs are seriously cool.  Nice reworking of the F-19 shape into something completely different too.

That re-shaped nose is really going to shake up the lines into some thing rich and strange. Keep at
it, man, we're getting down to the wire.
