Thought I'd get a good start while I am at home. 1/48 kit combining the Tamiya m26 turret, and the Gaso.Line mecha. I did not care for the schmallturm turret that came with the resin kit. I guess I should add some wires for the IR device on the turret.

Straight up front: I am no Sci-Fan nor am I anti-Sci-Fi.
But I do find these builds tremendously fun to watch being built up.
Thanks for bringing one here. :)

Ooo, this is gonna be fun! Good call on the turret Zod. The Schmalturm looks a little too 'schmal' and its turret-top sensor too modern. The M26 turret hits the Goldilocks spot :)

Helena is the name of the Mecha. Faora and Ursa are two Kryptonian women.

Here is an updated pic with the brown wash. usually,I do a pin wash. But it usually looks stained.. :-[ This time,I applied an acrylic wash over the entier model. This is the only good pic I was able to take.

Some better pics. The tripod I bought for my camera made a difference. Not sure what type of weathering I will do for her.

I think I will have to use the wet method for the pigments. The dry method looks wrong.
