I think the Napier Sabre with annular radiator can be a solution for little Brewster,at least a visual one.

Thanks Logan  :)
Cristophe, now we have the Buffalo with in line engine.  :) ;)
Although I stretched a little bit the fuselage think that it wouldn't be bad to extend it more.

Love the FARR Dewoitines and Fiats ... but your inline Buffalo with annular radiator is brilliant!  :-*

Love the scout fighter.  :-*

Not necessarily asking for a Brewster variant (the Brewster being underpowered and all), but would you be interested in doing a floatplane scout fighter somewhere down the road?

Forget about his bow and arrows- why wait until that sparrow has done his deed when I can just bury him right now 'cause I'm sick and tired of hearing why he wants to have his way with the cock robin!?

I have my selfish reasons- one is for what-if, the other is me being enamoured with World of Warships  ;D

That being said, while I like having my catapult fighters doing hits-and-runs on incoming dive bombers and torpedo bombers in the game, I am still aware that seaplanes stationed onboard surface combatants (not aircraft carriers) during real-life WWII were primarily useful as scouts and/or artillery spotters, and having a second pair of eyes to do the observing seems more intuitive......

Cristophe, thay look great, especially the second one.

And yet,a Brewster on floats it's very attractive:

That is beautiful, though it would probably be a SA-4, given that the USN designation system was fairly rigorous at the time.

I quite liked your approach of making maximum use of existing structure (It looks like the floats tie into the main landing gear trunnions, very neat).

Have you considered doing a IAR-81 with Shvetsov ASh-82 engine?
