1952- 70 years ago my father flying his Meteor in a leather helmet and goggles - he's now quite deaf ! - wonderful image taken by a fellow pilot in a 2 seat Meteor - My father was on a course of 16 at Driffield - 6 were killed - Every week he said there was a funeral - sad times

Early jet-flying was wild!

Seeing that pic, I wonder.... single-seat CF-100 Canuck as a fighter-bomber? Meteor with engines arranged in CF-100 fashion?
