Makes sense.  Once you have the truck chassis, you'd want to maximise your investment and make everything that was built on it.

^ Yeah, and what a coincidence that Dragon announced one too!  :-X Can't they try to outdo each other with new Chieftains. :P
Hope one of them will consider a five-axle HEMMT. Could use one for a sci-first project....

Smerch! Wicked!  >:D

Hope they'll also consider doing a 4K51 Rubesh coastal defence missile system:
<...>

Well, whaddayaknow, they actually do!  :icon_beer:

Rubesh on the far left. Next to it are an A-222 Bereg, a 130mm self-propelled coastal defence artillery gun, a Scud and a Smerch!

Two really cool bits of news (well to me at least!) announced on their Facebook site:

1/35 T-55A - hope they'll do the whole family!

1/72 F-106A and B! :-* 's gonna looks so nice in various RAF schemes! And one in Mod Eagle colours with low-viz markings flown by some ANG!

And going by eBay it looks like the Smerch MLRS and SA-8 Gecko have been released. Gnaah, my poor wallet!  :icon_beer:

Hallelujah!!  A 1/72 F-106B I won't have to make using a conversion kit.  How about the stooping eagle on the tail that the Oregon ANG has on their F-15s?  I'm definitely doing the one that was transferred to them when the 65 AGS disbanded, the desert scheme and that eagle are striking.

Knew it would work: I bought a Falcon F-106B vac-form conversion, so of course, an injection kit came along before I got a chance to use it. You can thank me later for taking one for the team... ;)

Mind you, given Trumpy's record, I want to see an actual accurate kit in my hands before I throw the vac-form away just yet...

There was a Mirage IIID and a two-seat Cougar in the set as well, so here's hoping.......

And here I was, just about to look up what 1/72 F-106B kits are available so I could do an Aussie/British one. Great news!

That wont happen until you build the vac-form kit.

Apparently there are signs that Meng will release an F-106B in the future, according to people who've had a close look at their F-106A.

A page of 1/48 releases was shared on Facebook last night - I'm at work so can't link to it - including a photo of this gorgeous aircraft which has been a favourite of mine for a while:

The world's sole airworthy Lavochkin La-9, NATO name Fritz...labelled by Trumpeter as an La-11 Fang.

People keep telling me about how poor Trumpeter's research is, and I try to be positive.

Anywho, regardless of type this should be awesome. As far as I know the best La-11 kit is a resin one, so this should be a bit cheaper for me and easier to build.
