Ah, Damnation Alley where they jacked the title up and ran a whole new story under it (and that's the author's PoV, too; as heard at a convention).

I'm going to have to buy the OTR-23, it's got post-apocalypse sci fi written all over it! :-*

HMS Roberts and Abercrombie in 1/350 scale? That's got to be an 'off the wall' choice!

The GAZ-66s are a good addition; hopefully they won't have any major dimensional errors (a Trumpeter trademark) and just as I'm finishing my Eastern Express GAZ-66V!

The 1/200 aircraft look interesting.

Speaking of GAZ, the 393 looks suitably post-apocalytic. And the Gekco has loads of sci-fi-ish greeblies to be cannibalized.

Excited about the monitors myself - though I'm kind of saddened that Trumpeter seems to have all but abandoned 1/72 scale armor.

HMS Roberts and Abercrombie in 1/350 scale? That's got to be an 'off the wall' choice!

From the discussions already occurring amongst the ship-modellers, some who have seen
previews of the Trumpeter kit, the kit is a mishmash of the two ships and neither could
be accurately built OOB. Evidently it's based on some Polish sourced drawings that have
the identical mistakes.

The upshot then is, perfect whiff fodder.  ;D  :icon_fsm:

Hhaha! Trumpeter's accidental whiff's, love it. Add to that the LAV-TUA which they released with the bolt-on armour package added; a modification never worn by the TUA.

2-bladed props and fabric wings for that Hornet F.1! ;D

But the one with the better chance of getting purchased for my Project Pile is the crank-wing MiG.   Finn or US markings.  Or the Fishpot. Skis look great on Su-9 and 11's.
