Hello there!!
Yes! The HU-16A Albatros will be hitting the market in April! I did the boxart so i ensure the release! Also there will be more Mig-23's to come! I completed 4 boxart images in all, for 4 different versions!
Good modelling times to all!                                                        Regards, Kostas

Looks like we will not have to wait patiently for Revell to get motivated and produce the Fennek :)  Trumpeter is going to save us some time and produce the Fennek instead.  More details as the story develops but so far only this topic at Missing-Lynx forums to go with and I am really hoping this is not something cobbled together in PhotoShop as a joke.

Very nice work.  That kit cries out to be wiffed with a pair of suitable turboprops.  I'm thinking that the engine nacelles and props from a Basler conversion would look far better than the Darts installed on the one and only Conroy Super Albatros.

It looks like they just took the whole nacelles from an Andover doesn't it.

I wouldn't have put that past them.  Conroy always seemed to have a concern for keeping costs down while doing good work.

Having said that, I still like the idea of an Albatros with the Basler turboprop installation.  On the other hand, a pair of T76/TPE331s installed inlet upward, as on the Swearingen designes, might work better in keeping the props inthe same plane they are in now instead of moving them forward.

Thomas Hofmann has uploaded a nice in-box review of the Trumpeter 1:35th scale Soviet UAZ-469 All-Terrain Vehicle 4X4 SUV (kit number 02327)

Click on html or thumbnail image to view.

Nice looking little kit from the images.  Having seen enough of these things in real life on imagery it is nice to finally see it now offered as a very nice little detailed scale model.

I have this kit as well as the old generic Eastern European kit (currently put out by "Military Wheels") of the same, which sells for a little over 1/2 the price. The Trumpeter kit is often discounted, and unlike their cousins, Hobby Boss, they don't add ridiculously tiny PE parts just to complicate the kit (although this kit has plenty of small parts). The Military Wheels version isn't bad, but it really suffers in comparison; the Trumpeter kit is worth the difference in price.

Trumpeter also makes a kit of the BJ212 the Chinese clone of the UAZ-469 (not quite, just as their HMMWV isn't quite a copy of the US version). This is a simpler but still very nicely made kit and it's cheap ($14 at Squadron)

Hello there!!
Actually the first to hit the market will be the A3D-2 the early version! The above image shows the later version that's going to be released in August, i think!! I know cos i painted the new box art and the Trumpeter people wanted it as fast as possible to catch up with the dates for an April release!!
It also can be seen on Trumpeter's official web site!!
Best of modelling!!!                                                                       Kostas

USS Missouri in 1/200 was just announced. I hope there is a chance for 1991 version of this battleship. I have a dream of another RC battleship :)
