Wonderful, thanks Moritz! Luckily it's a slow morning at work so I have plenty of time to digest it all.  8)

HMS Belfast in 1/700 1942 and 1959 configurations!

Dunkerque and Strasburg in 1/350! (based on past performance that means 1/700 a year later)

I wonder how long until we see a Tiger or Vanguard (the battleship)?  If they do a Tiger then undoubtedly Lion and Blake would follow, as well as the helicopter conversions and quite possibly Superb, Swiftsure  and even Ontario.  Then again I may just be delusional.

The annoying part is that the SKIF kit looks great and even has the suggestion of an interior, but it just fails at everything else. Maybe you can use the hull and turn it into a wheeled vehicle?

Hopefully Trumpeter won't screw something obvious on this kit.

Replace the tracks with a rubber skirt and put a big prop and some fins on the back! :) PACV-style!

1/144 or 1/72 LCAC skirts are too shallow when scale-orama-ed to a 1/35th hull.
The old Airfix 1/144 SRN.4 is better, but they are still a bit undersized for a 1/35th
armoured vehicle.

J-20.  I see some Columbia River prehistoric fish in that shape; build it up to accompany our Herman the Sturgeon behemoth.
