Junkers Ju-52

Two alternative Ju-52, by adding some Junkers bits (and a Condor nose). ;)

Could very well imagine a re-engined Tía Ju in Latin America, doing civilian cargo flights.

Could very well imagine a re-engined Tía Ju in Latin America, doing civilian cargo flights.
Perhaps with suitable Wright or P&W (or even Ruissian-supplied) radials replacing the BMW radials?  Or for ones that *really* survived a long time, suitable turboprops?

There were a number of Ju52s with P&W engines including this one in USAAF service as a C-79:

How about France or Spain playing around with turboprop power on their post war variants of the Ju 52?

Maybe they could redesign the wing engine nacelles to accomodate retractable landing gear as well.

I have toyed with the idea of a post war Turbu JU52 equivalent to the Turbo Dam with RR Darts (see below).  I even have the parts to do it in 1/48.  Would plan on just two engines though and maybe put a weather radar in the nose.
