Two alternative Ju-52, by adding some Junkers bits (and a Condor nose). ;)

Both look very interesting. 8)
Could very well imagine a re-engined Tía Ju in Latin America, doing civilian cargo flights.
-
Could be Luft 46 versions.

Perhaps with suitable Wright or P&W (or even Ruissian-supplied) radials replacing the BMW radials? Or for ones that *really* survived a long time, suitable turboprops?
-
There were a number of Ju52s with P&W engines including this one in USAAF service as a C-79:

How about France or Spain playing around with turboprop power on their post war variants of the Ju 52?
Maybe they could redesign the wing engine nacelles to accomodate retractable landing gear as well.

I have toyed with the idea of a post war Turbu JU52 equivalent to the Turbo Dam with RR Darts (see below). I even have the parts to do it in 1/48. Would plan on just two engines though and maybe put a weather radar in the nose.

Wow, those look like they came of the Savoia-Marchetti design tables.

Speaking of different Ju52s, how about one with a Jumo222:

Interesting pic. I presume the grill under the prop is a radiator - cold air in - hot air comes out where ? into the fuselage to heat the crew ?

Mind you, had this puppy gone operational on the Ostfront, cabin heating might not have been a bad idea ;)

Threee PT6A's or equivalent Turbomeca engines? Much like the Conroy Tri-Turbo Three.
