2022 ICM Catalog is out.

https://icm.com.ua/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/katalog-2022-web-2.pdf

I found 2 interesting entries on page 47: 1/35 Unimog S 404 (35146) with box body and Unimog S 404 (35135)

The box body offering would make a good surplus conversion to off-road camper.

I'll get that one for sure.

The KAMAZ AR2 fire truck looks good, since it has that generic Russian truck box. Both that and the Unimog would make good post-apoc vacation campers.

Beaufort Mk.1 still listed as is Beaufort Mk.1a (tropical filter) but no Mk.II or DAP types yet.

Some of the 1/24th vintage cars look interesting as do the 1/16th figures (ex--Airfix / Aurora ?)

Fuselage length will be : 30" / 77cm
Rotor diameter will be 24" / 62cm
Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

The  large scale figures are all theirs. The vintage cars will sometimes get a 1/35 version (or vice versa) their 1917 Model T was a really nice build.

That's going to be a big kit...

I've watched these things drop antennas onto existing towers.

One way to display it would be on top of a 5' - 6' torchiere floor lamp, with a second power cord running up through the 'antenna' load.
Make the load 'diamond' out of little sheets of plexi, paint the edges so they look like the cables.
Motorize the blades if you're really insane.
Everything would be high enough that decapitating yourself would be unlikely.

How about replicating this scene in 1/35? I was there in 1975 watching this happen.

And if you are wondering, the CN Tower would have to be 51.85 ft tall.

I'd be tempted to turn it into something from the MaK universe - there is an increasing amount of stuff in 1/35 in that series.

If it’s molded in white it would make painting a lot easier. You could the US Forest Service version.

Alas I think you will find it's moulded in grey and it is only a decal change with this version.

According to The Times of London, The Ukrainian pilot hailed as the “Ghost of Kyiv” was killed in battle on March 13.

He’s been identified as Major Stepan Tarabalka, a 29 yr-old father of 1.

There were several Republic serials with this character. "King of the Rocket Men" (1949) was the first; the most famous was probably the Commando Cody character. The serials are... not good.

"King of the Rocket Men": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXh9mehHhjQ
"Radar Men From The Moon": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DSEXqRkQ2M - the Moon looks surprisingly like Bronson Canyon...
