Starch Wars - Millenary Goshawk 1/350 - Finished 2015/12/03
« on: November 23, 2015, 04:22:21 AM »
Hi guys

Being a little bit sick of so much Star Wars stuff going on, I started my own private Saga:
Starch Wars, aka "The Low Carb Wars" where the Fork is always with you, regardless of what you do...:)

You got the point, right?
I have had no patience to develop the idea much further, so I started the model instead :)

As usual, no commercial kit involved. Just an empty modest humble correcting tape machine:

And her is how it evolved, adding just some pieces of plastic:

And just to show you the real dimensions of it...

And that's about it, in terms of the model itself.

A simple base with some figures will follow...

Thanks for watching!

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

You blaze new model frontiers,,,   and I love it :-*

Oh, I like that idea!   :-*

Now will you paint it white or light grey or a touch of blue? Studio model colors or replicate screen colors? Which movie?  ;)  ;)

Great work with a common object! Love it!! This is why I enjoy whiffing.

Oh that's some excellent greeblification there - well done!

Reminds me of an idea I had: what if the Carry On team had lasted long enough to do a Star Wars parody?  >:D  (IIRC one of the very first, never filmed Carry On scripts was something like Carry On Spaceman!)

Hi guys

Thanks for the nice words!

And after a busy Black Friday, here is the result:

The base:

With a little initial color...

With the primer, at last! :)

With several different tones, to add diversity:

And the base painting is done:

Now is time to get some 1/350 figures, and the final weathering stage.

Thanks for watching!
