Just the windows are project of their own.  Nose, tail, turret removal, paint are done so well

Interesting video on a WW2 Luftwaffe semi-submerged rescue buoy.

All in all, it is coming along nicely on what is a rare bird.
that scheme is tight and the decals looks great so far.

Transparency masking can be problematic. I have been there with what you have, so these days (on the extremely rare occasion, that I do aircraft) I do not prime the canopy area if possible, just a couple of fine(ish) top coats to minimize the layering effect. The other effect of this is that the interior view of the framing is not primer colour.

Hi all

Managed to do some work on the Stirling it's showing some progress now, the decals are on and it's had its coat of matt varnish .

This was however followed by an annoying set back when I removed the masking on the windows.

Despite carefully cutting around the windows the paint still spalled off so I'm going to have a very careful touching up session

..... and the main canopy didn't fare much better, I had some break through by the primer coat as well as the problems above. Perhaps a gray primer would have been better

So two steps forward and one back at the moment

More when it happens.......
