It's all those moving bits that really blitz my brain, because I struggle to get turrets to turn, let alone even think about trying to get all those other little bits to move!  :-\  :-\  :icon_alabanza:

I’ve managed to take care of some details on the mobil.
Exhaust pipe and muffler I was way overthinking. Turn signal lights on the front fenders. Found an old pair of mirrors that I’ll have to build brackets for. I filled in the turn signals on the front of the Pinto with UV resin. I’m going to color them yellow with a sharpie. Going to pour the mold for a light bar and revolving yellow lights tomorrow. I’ll cast them from clear resin and color them yellow. So good progress today.

That’s really well done! Such a total transformation.
I bet with all this drone warfare going on interest in small systems like this will skyrocket.

Ferret Mk5 Swingfire Update:

A lot more odds and sods fitted today than I was expecting but such is life... Anyhoo, the build phase is now complete and the new Ferret Mk5 is ready for a spray of undercoat which will not only pull the model together but also highlights the odd gap and/or blemish that will need to be sorted. Then on to the paint shop!

Anyway here are the latest batch of WIP pics...

The base color was black primer with some aluminum - It's going to end up with a light blue metallic finish, like the original Leif Ericson, but with some variations on aluminum and steel in spots and some color decals. So far, the names I've picked are SSC Procyon (raccoons are part of the Procyon genus) and S.C.C Esiban, the Ojibwe name for raccoons.

The plastic has some soft molding in spots and very sharp molding in others. Not bad for 1980s Japanese SF kits.

Jeff, I'll add a few vehicles and cargo. I have some resin vehicles that Jay Curtiss made for the original Leif Ericson, that should fit. I was tempted to light the cargo bay, but I want to finish these kits this month or next... not next year.

I have a few of those Uncle Les CAC CA-23s in the stash.

What scale is the Ghost Bat and was it a scratch build or a kit?

Zoom in on the image and it states "1/32nd scale" on the display base.
