Curtiss H-16 Airliner

(1/2) > >>

Acree:
This is my major contribution the GB (though I may have a couple of less-ambitious entries as well) - it was a generous prize given by Brian de Basher for the Great War GB.  1/72 scale Roden Curtiss H-16.  I will convert it into a pioneer airliner in Alaska - using the decals shown in the second photo.  Wish me luck - I'll need it!

Cliffy B:
The CO approves, please proceed sir  :)

Sweet idea!

Cool!

It worked for Aeromarine.  :)

Upperçu converted Curtiss HS-2L boats into the Model 80/85 and
Felixstowe F-5Ls into the Model 75.

Here's a Model 80, with the passengers under cover and the pilots out where they belong.  ;D

Nice inflight shot of Model 75 Buckeye.

Interior of Polar Bear as set up for an Arctic hunting trip.

Tourist flights of local area for ~30 minutes in Areomarine Buckeye would be a kick.

Waiting to see H-16 airliner build !
