Original 1959 kit in 1963 Airfix of America (AoA) box beaconed me to buy & build, thought it "too difficult" never mind "being a seaplane" nose upturned but did build the Supermarine Walrus c.1965 nose downturned. In 1968 bought another AoA kit, prepped it for painting tossing it spring 1969 with other prepped & no-builds. Decades later bought a Airfix re-issue truly-really intending to build it but tossed it, decades later in 21st Century bought two 1963 AoAs as "forever keepsakes" gave them well as 622 other kits to Viking Hobbies 2015 & 2021, still wished I'd built just one of the critters :icon_sueno:

The interior green looks a little dark, what did you use?
I used to use Humbrol 78 (a tin I bought in the 1970's) but the current version of H-78 is not right (compared to actual sheet-metal samples).

I used Tamiya XF-71, "actually" is brighter than in photos..
