It looks like the Academy wings might fit (the old Revell-Monogram P-47N has a one-piece lower wing/lower fuselage).

Nah...just a honking big 2,300 hp Chrysler XIV-2220-1 16-cylinder inverted-V engine.

Mind you, you could probably modify it to be a whiff turboprop version a bit like I did here:

Kitbashing it 1/72 would be huge job. Kitbashing their 1/48 B-36 to 1/72 is plenty much to deal with.

Probably not though they do have a 1/48 B-36 (see below) and have done a Me323 in 1/32 and may be hinting at something with their 1/32 B-52 cockpit kit.

Now that is more to my liking. The previous offering had the early WW2 style stores pylons and that appears to have been fixed with this conversion. Yay! Halbred may yet get some of my money now that they have done right by this PA-48 Enforcer conversion.
