Diorama idea with a modified 427 SOAS-operated CL415 on the waves and a JTF-2 assault boat driving up the ramp with high value prisoners and wounded on board.

Another news story on the TV a couple of nights ago about the De Havilland 515.  It looks like they'll be using the Viking hangar in Calgary for the final assemble of the 515. The story also said about 500 jobs will be created too ---

When the 515 first started being reported, it was to be CL-214's converted to turbo-prop and other enhancements which would make it better than the CL-415. The news story was saying the new 515 would be bigger than the existing aircraft, but I'm not sure about that.

FBI Los Angeles has finally identified the Drone Operator, who was flying a DJI Drone in “Restricted Airspace” over the Pacific Palisades on January 9th, when it was struck by a Canadair CL-415 “Super Scooper” Aerial-Firefighting Aircraft, as 56-Year-Old Peter Tripp Akemann from Culver City, California.

The Quebec-Based Firefighting Aircraft suffered a Large Hole in its Left-Wing, causing it to be grounded for at least 5 Days during the Wildfire Outbreak in Southern California.

Akemann has agreed to a Plea Deal given by Federal Prosecutors, which would require him to plead Guilty to a Misdemeanor in exchange for him paying Full Restitution to the Government of Quebec, in the range of $65,169, and completing 150 Hours of Community Service in support of the 2025 “Southern California Wildfire Relief Effort.”

Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

According to the FBI's LA Field Office, "operating drones in a restricted area could be disastrous". Really? Wow ... good to know that the Bureau is right on the case  :smiley:

So, this tool Akemann avoids federal prison because, this time, he didn't actually kill anyone?  :P

A real shame he is not getting the 'Full-Monty' on punishment.

The guy is a rich music or media producer. He should be forced to work on the debris removal in either or both fire locations.

Yeah, Peter Akemann co-founded the video game development studio Treyarch in 1996 (acquired by Activision in 2001 which, in turn, was bought by Microsoft in January 2022). So, anyone wanting to protest this sentence might consider boycotting Call of Duty, Warcraft, Guitar Hero, etc. ...   ;)

No point, he's too far removed from them for it to impact him now.

If you want to hurt him financially now, Skydance Interactive is your target, the video game division of Skydance Media.
