Nightingale ... but no Florence by a wide margin!
« on: September 29, 2017, 05:58:10 AM »
Hi guys

Sorry about all these hiatuses, but life has been very erratic these last months.

Anyway, please find below one of my last projects: The Nightingale  Mk. I Cold Jet Low Altitude Cruise Missile.

Unfortunately there was no time to think of a story to justify it.
I just like the sound of the word Nightingale :)

The original kit was the new 1/72 Airfix Harrier.

But the final product was scaled down to 1/48 by virtue of the lovely female engineer figure :)

Thanks for watching!

But which way does it fly? :o

Actually, yes, I know it flies pointy-end forward but, if you can't see the landing gear, it's hard to pick.

Love the idea of variable attitude air intakes. Great build, Antonio!  8)

"!"         Phwoar, NICE.
If I don't plan it, it can't go wrong!

If it's great, I did it. If it's naff, I found it.

Beautiful!!  Are you sure the engineer's first name isn't Florence?  ;)
