In the late 70's the USAF decided that they would include a small purchase of Northrop F-20 fighters to help get international sales started. These were all sent directly to National Guard units. This helped Northrop and sales of the F-20 internationally were brisk. With almost the same capability as the F-16A and a somewhat lower price, it was a popular a/c. Among the US users, was the New Mexico Air National Guard. This is one of their fighters ready for a typical training mission.

This is the Hasegawa F-20 in 1/72 scale. It was build mostly OOB. I added new hypodermic needle gun barrels and seat belts. A nice kit, this was a quick easy build. The markings are from the '95 IPMS/USA Albuquerque national convention sheet. I always liked the SEA camo on USAF a/c and thought it would look good on the F-20 and here it is.

Nice! :) Always thought the F-20 looked wicked...even more so with a nice camo job.

Absolutely killer, Ed!
You could probably convince more than a few that this actually happened.
